The scoop
NAD+, short for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is a coenzyme found in every living cell. Here it comes as 500mg of powder in a sealed amber vial. A 1000mg vial is also available. Laboratory research only, 21+.
Sizing up the 500mg vial
The 500mg vial is the smallest NAD+ fill on our shelf: 500 mg of freeze-dried powder for $35.00, which works out to $0.07 per mg. Think of it as the snowball before the snowman, the lowest-cost way to get NAD+ onto the bench. The bigger siblings bring the per-mg price down, all the way to $0.06 on the 1000mg vial (14% less per mg than here).
One size up, the 1000mg vial adds 500 mg for $25.00 more, so each extra milligram costs $0.05. Per milligram, the 1000mg vial comes in at $0.06, versus $0.07 here. It takes 2 of these 500mg vials to match the 1000 mg in one 1000mg vial: $70.00 at single-vial prices, versus $60.00 for the big one.

NAD+ coenzyme: a research overview
NAD+ is a quiet workhorse of cell biology. Strictly speaking it is a coenzyme rather than a peptide, and it sits at the center of a lively field of aging research.
Please note: Snowman Research does not offer dosing information or usage guidance of any kind. Everything we list, this item included, is sold strictly for research purposes and nothing else.
Published findings
A recurring theme in reviews is that NAD+ in tissues and cells falls with age, a pattern reported in rodents and humans alike [1]. Animal studies have reported that raising NAD+ in older or diseased animals improved health measures and lengthened lifespan [2]. Much of that animal work used NAD+ precursors and other NAD-boosting compounds rather than NAD+ directly [3][2]. A 2021 review urged caution, noting that it remains unclear whether restoring NAD+ in older humans is safe or beneficial [1]. Overall, the strongest data are from cell and animal models.
Mechanism at a glance
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide shuttles electrons in oxidation-reduction reactions and serves as a cosubstrate for sirtuins and poly(ADP-ribose) polymerases [3]. It is also consumed by CD38, and it influences DNA repair, chromatin remodeling, senescence and immune function [1].
Regulatory & WADA notes
The NAD+ offered here is a laboratory reagent, not an FDA-approved drug. WADA's 2026 List doesn't name NAD+ itself. Separately, the List's method M2.2 bans intravenous infusions and/or injections above 100 mL per 12-hour period unless legitimately received during hospital treatment, surgery or clinical diagnostic investigations, whatever the substance [4].
